Amr El-Ashmawi is vice president of World Wide Strategic Marketing at Microsemi Corporation, managing the defense & security, aerospace and industrial vertical market business units, as well as marketing externally to customers. El-Ashmawi brings over 18 years of high tech and leadership role experience in the semiconductor and software industry to the company. Additionally, he serves as the Microsemi executive sponsor for the U.S. Department of Defense in a number of areas including the support of key high performance computing missions, information assurance and trust using FPGAs and ASICs. El-Ashmawi also oversees the Microsemi foundry relationship for the Intel Custom Foundry and the Microsemi Defense Microelectronics Activity collaboration on Trust.
